It was a busy weekend for Coburg North parents and students – as they spent the weekend at the school building and planting.
All craft hands were on deck on Saturday as sets were built for the school musical extravaganza Show Me The Money – to be held on September 11.
While trees were planted by the dozen at a planting day on Sunday as our wildlife corridor nears completion.
Thank you to all those who gave their time and came along.
With this weekend looking a little quieter on the working bee front, how about going along to the Coburg RSL band night on Saturday?
The band night is organised by some Coburg North parents and will be free this Saturday (September 6) to mark its fifth evening of independent, up and coming live music, with a line-up unlikely to be found anywhere else in the city, let alone Coburg.
The all ages event starts at 7pm at the Coburg RSL, 323 Sydney Rd, and is curated by one of Melbourne’s weirdest indie duos Go Genre Everything, MC’d by Barb Wire, with bands to appear including Haark, New Estate, Bearded Iris and Little Desert.
