Cookies in a Jar

As a special treat for Mother’s Day why not bake some biscuits together.

Jar web


Plain flour

SR Flour

Brown Sugar

Caster Sugar

Chocolate Chips

Rolled Oats

Dessicated Coconut






Empty jar into bowl.

Mixture web

Add an egg

Add egg - web

And 45g melted butter

Melt butter web


Biscuit Mixture web

Form teaspoon size balls and place onto a baking sheet

Rustic balls web

Bake in a 170C fan forced oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.  Allow to cool on the tray for 5 minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool.

Completed biscuits web

The only step left is to get them before the kids do!

    • Thanks Carla, Much appreciated! We sold lots on the Mothers Day stall but only a few at the market. I think that is probably more a reflection of why people approach our stall (ie they come for pancakes rather than gifts) than the quality of the product though.
